Tens of thousands participate in global record attempt for World’s Largest Swim Lesson to send the message Swimming Lessons Save Lives™ – you could be one of them! Join us at Charlotte Aquatics Friday, June 24th, as we attempt to break the Guinness World record for the largest swim lesson. This thirty minute lesson is taught across the world. Join the fun and help break the record!
Tragically, drowning remains the second leading cause of accidental death for kids ages 1-14 and the leading cause of accidental death for children 1-5. Research shows participation in formal swim lessons can reduce the risk of drowning by 88%.

Register: The event is free and open to the community but you must register by June 22nd to participate. Spots are limited – call now (704) 341-9673.
Ages: Six months and older. Those under the age of three will go in with a parent.
Arrive: Between 1:00pm and 1:20pm to sign in and receive your packet. Late arrivals cannot join in.
Record Attempt: Starts exactly at 1:30pm EST. Participants may NOT enter the pool after 1:25pm. Lesson is 30 minutes long. Remember learning to swim is a process and not a single day event.
