We let all of the phone calls go to voicemail so that we can time stamp your call. This makes the registration process as fair as possible. Be patient, we will get back to you as soon as we can. We field several hundred phone calls in those first two days.
Kids love a pool party! Charlotte Aquatics is open on Sundays for birthday parties. Enjoy the use of the entire facility for your private party. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional, injury-related death to children ages 1 to 14. Most parents think that they will be alerted by splashing and yelling if their child gets into trouble in the pool. Unfortunately, drowning is usually a silent event and often occurs during a brief lapse in supervision. According to a study by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, most young children who drowned in pools were last seen in the home, had been out of sight less than five minutes, and were in the care of one or both parents at the time. Please utilize the following Ten Tips to keep your child safe:
A week-long, Red Cross Certified, day camp program for 11-14 year olds. Participants learn about water safety, drowning prevention, first aid, and leadership skills. This fun and engaging program, runs from 8:00am-noon Monday –Friday and is taught at Charlotte Aquatics’ indoor pool. Participants will also earn volunteer/service hours as they hone their skills with actual swimmers.
