Spring 2012 Level 6 Champions!

Elise

Elise

Elise is a fifth grader at the British American School. Besides swimming, Elise plays soccer, is a cheerleader, plays the piano, and loves to read. Having passed level six she is a strong swimmer and her favorite strokes are front crawl and breaststroke. She has put all of her hard earned patches in her memory box. When you ask Elise what her favorite thing about Charlotte Aquatics is she says, “The Teachers!” Her favorite memory of Charlotte Aquatics is when she passed level 5 and she feels that swimming has changed her life by making her safer in the water. Way to go Elise!        

Geethika

Geethika is eight years old and attends Elon Park Elementary. When she is not swimming, she likes reading, singing, and riding her bike. Her favorite memory at Charlotte Aquatics is learning how to dive. Her favorite strokes are butterfly and front crawl. When asked how swimming has changed her life, Geethika said, “It made me a confident swimmer and I enjoy swimming now.” Geethika would like to say thanks to Charlotte Aquatics and Charlotte Aquatics would like to say thank you to Geethika for being such an awesome student!
 
 
Haruka

 Haruka is a third grader at Ballantyne Elementary. She has been swimming with us for a year and a half and has demonstrated continual improvement.  She has put her hard earned patches in a scrapbook. Haruka is a hard worker and we are very proud of her accomplishments.
 
  
Jack

Jack

 
Jack is a second grader at Endhaven Elementary. When he is not swimming at Charlotte Aquatics he is very active playing soccer, riding his bike, playing Wii and with his Pokemon cards.  Because Jack is such a great swimmer, one of his best swimming memories is swimming with the turtles in Barbados. His favorite stroke is the front crawl and is mum has sewn all of his coveted patches on his swim shorts. Jack feels that swimming has changed is life by making him stronger and allowing him to have more fun at the pool in the summer. When you ask him what he likes most about Charlotte Aquatics, his answer is “Mr. Mike and Ms. Gigi!” Jack has many great memories of Charlotte Aquatics but his favorite is going of the Tarzan rope for the first time! Congratulations Jack for all your hard work!
 
Lucie

Lucie

Lucie is a seventh grader at the British American School and is a great student in and out of the water. When she is not swimming she is doing homework, reading, walking, or cheerleading.  Her favorite stroke is the breastroke and she feels that swimming has changed her life by making her safer in the water and allowing her to have more fun in the water.  She has all of her level patches safely stored away in her bedroom. When asked what her favorite swimming memory is, she replies, “I don’t have one specific. All moments were a great experience!”  And of course, her favorite thing about Charlotte Aquatics is the teachers.

 

Yuta

Yuta

 

 Yuta is a second grader at Ballantyne Elementary school. When he is not swimming he loves to do anything active so swimming suits him well.  He is so proud of his accomplishment and seeing a goal through to the finish. He has decorated his desk with his level 6 trophy.
