My name is Asees and I’m 7 years old. I’m a rising second grader at Metrolina Regional Scholars Academy. I have really enjoyed my time at Charlotte Aquatics and always been excited to come for my swim lesson. Although all the teachers are really good, my favorites are Ms. Katherine, Ms. Jessica, Ms. Deborah, Mr. Mike and Ms. Katie. My favorite stroke is Breaststroke and freestyle. My favorite memory from swimming is at my first swim lesson with Mr. Rob in Level 2A when I was 3 years old and I started to cry when he put water on my hair. I smile when I think about it now. I love to swim and Charlotte Aquatics has helped me prepare for a swim team. When I’m not swimming, I like to do art and gymnastics. Thank you Charlotte Aquatics for everything!!
My name is Colin. When I am not swimming, I enjoy a lot of things. I like to ride my go-kart and drive the golf cart through the neighborhood. I like to play basketball with my Dad and dance with my Mom. I love spending time with my two dogs and two cats. It’s really fun to go to the driving range to hit golf balls. I love to jump in the waves and dig in the sand at the beach. My mom and dad recently bought a camper and we love to go on new adventures. One of my favorite times at Charlotte Aquatics is when I got thrown out of the boat during safety week! I really like the teachers at Charlotte Aquatics – Mr. Grant, Miss Jessica, and Mr. Mike are awesome! My favorite memory of Charlotte Aquatics was winning the swim race during the last summer Olympics and I got to carry the Olympic torch around the pool while everyone followed. I am so proud of myself because I worked so hard to receive my level 6 trophy!
My name is Gabby Costa. I am 7 years old and going into the 2nd grade at Pleasant Knoll Elementary in Fort Mill. I have been taking swim lessons at Charlotte aquatics for a year and a half. During my first session I saw someone receive their trophy and from that moment I told my mom and dad that I was going to get a trophy too. With a lot of hard work I made that happen. I had wonderful teachers to help me achieve my goal. My favorite stroke is Butterfly. When I’m not swimming I like to play with my friends, do gymnastics, and spend time with my family. I want everyone to know if you put your mind to something you can make it happen!
