Registration Fee: We do have an annual registration fee of $35 per family. This fee will be charged along with your first month’s tuition and then annually on the anniversary of your enrollment.
Tuition Fee: Our monthly tuition is based on how many lessons are in that particular month. This means that some months may reflect four lessons and some may reflect five lessons. You will be charged on a monthly basis for the amount of lessons in that month. Your bank account or credit card will be automatically charged on or about the 20th of every month.
For Example, if your swimmer takes a group lesson on Tuesday and there are four Tuesdays in that month – you will be charged $80. If there are five Tuesdays in that particular month, you will be charged $100.
Per lesson fees:
Group = $20
Private Lessons = $45
Adult lessons = $22
Cancellation Policy: Although we hate to see you leave, we know that eventually your child will progress out of the program or you may need to withdraw for other reasons. We require that you fill out our cancellation form (found under the Resource Tab) and submit it to our office before the 1st of your swimmer’s last month. For example, if you wish for September to be your last month of lessons, your completed cancellation form must be received by Charlotte Aquatics before September 1st.
We are unable to provide make-up classes for circumstances beyond our control – this includes closings due to inclement weather and closings for “accidents” in the pool.
Cell phone and camera use are prohibited in the locker rooms. This ensures the safety and comfort of all parents that no photos or videos are being taken that may accidentally include their changing child in the background.
Please put your belongings in a locker or take them with you on deck. For the convenience of all parents, please do not leave your belongings on the benches. This allows everyone to have a place to sit and change.
Eating and drinking in the locker room is not allowed. It is difficult to keep the locker rooms clean when food gets soggy on the floor. You are more than welcome to eat snacks in the viewing area. Please do not bring any glass or ceramic into the facility.
We take every precaution to make sure that we are providing safe and clean water for your swim lessons. In order to do that we have a few rules:
- All children under the age of three and those not fully potty trained, must wear a re-usable swim diaper (see Swim Diaper above).
- Please have your child shower before they enter the pool.
- Do not have your child come to lessons if they have loose stools or have been vomiting.
- For safety reasons, if we have a fecal accident in the pool, we will we will suspend water time. Please do not take your child and leave, as we will be providing land based instruction. This valuable information is a wonderful compliment to the water lessons your child is receiving.
We utilize state of the art computer-controlled chemical feeding systems that allow for the best, balanced water. We use a bromine system that is a better sanitizer than chlorine and does not have all of the unwanted side-effects.
Do Not Leave Valuables in Your Car
Please do not leave valuables in your car. Put your valuables in your trunk or better yet bring them inside with you.
We are open and teaching as usual during lightning and thunder storms.
Our building was constructed with safety in mind and all of our upright beams have been grounded.
Snow and Ice
Because we are unable to accommodate make-up lessons, we try hard not to close.(See Make-up policy)However, sometimes Mother Nature has other plans for us. If we feel that staff and families can get to the facility safely, we will remain open. Some families live very close and others travel great distances. Please use your own best judgment. We will keep families posted via Facebook, our voicemail system, and by email to keep you up to date regarding closures.
