My name is Vivian and I am six years old. When I’m not swimming, I like to color, play with my sisters and play with my American Girl Doll, Grace. My best memory of swimming was when I finally learned how to do a flip turn without getting water up my nose! My mommy has safely held all of my patches. Now that I will have Level VI, we will create something beautiful to display them all with my new trophy. My favorite stroke is the Breast Stroke, because you get to go up and down, up and down. Swimming has changed my life because it is awesome to know how to swim. Now I can play in the pool and on the slides and not be scared. What I like the most about Charlotte Aquatics is that my teachers are the nicest and my favorite memory will be all the FUN I’ve had!!
My name is Lauren and I am 8 years old. I will be in the 3rd grade this year at Carmel Christian School.?? My mom put me in swim lessons here when I had just turned 3 and I was afraid to even put my face in the water.? Now I am on our neighborhood swim team and have won several ribbons so far this season! When I am not swimming I like to color, ride my bike and play with my sister. My best memory of Charlotte aquatics is having my 5th birthday party there! My favorite stroke is freestyle. What I like best about Charlotte Aquatics is the rope swing.
Hi! My name is Madison and I am 8 years old. When I am not swimming, I like to play outside, play with my brothers, play American Girl dolls, and do arts and crafts. My best swimming memory is learning how to dive and getting my first swim team ribbon. My favorite stroke is the Breast Stroke. Swimming has changed my life because it has made me enjoy swim team and it makes me feel safe in the water. What I like most about Charlotte Aquatics is the rope swim and learning how to dive. Ms. Mary and Ms. Gigi were great teachers. I like how all the things I learned at Charlotte Aquatics made me a better swimmer for swim team. I learned how to do breast and butterfly the right way!
As a parent, my goals for Madison at Charlotte Aquatics were to learn how to properly do each stroke and increase her self confidence for summer swim team. The ultimate success was when Madison was not only competitive in her age group but placed first in her heat in a stroke she learned at Charlotte Aquatics. The rate of progression at Charlotte Aquatics has been excellent with my children achieving milestones in a timely manner. I appreciate the teaching standards at Charlotte Aquatics. Hi, my name is Kyle. I am 9 years old and I am a rising 4th grader. When I am not?swimming I like to play soccer, basketball, baseball, chess, video games and watch television. I also like spending time with my sister Kelly who also takes swimming lessons at Charlotte Aquatics. My best swimming memory would have to be swinging off the rope the first time, it was awesome! My mother has put all my patches in my memory book. My favorite stroke is the side stroke. Swimming has changed my life because now I know how to swim and can do different strokes. What I like most about Charlotte Aquatics are the teachers, getting patches and swimming during the winter time. My favorite memory of Charlotte Aquatics is passing level 6! Thanks mom and dad for making sure I didnt give up and for making me finish all 6 levels.
My name is Julianna and I am 7 years old. When I am not swimming I like to play with my little brother. I also like to play on the computer and with my DS and on my IPOD. My best swimming memory is when I got each badge from completing each level at Charlotte Aquatics. I hung all my patches up in my room on my memory board. My favorite stroke is the butterfly stroke. Swimming has changed my life in a couple of ways.? First, it has taught me to never give up. I was having a hard time with flip turns and I wanted to quit.? But, when I kept trying I got better and better and finally did it. Now it is easy for me. Second, swimming has helped with my asthma. I love the teachers at Charlotte Aquatics because they teach and inspire me to swim my best. My favorite memory was mastering flip turns and finding out that I passed Level VI!!
My name is Joshua and I am a rising third grader. When I am not swimming, I like to do Lego’s and play video games. I also play Soccer. My best swimming memory is mastering the flip turn. I keep all my hard earned patches on my award wall. My favorite stroke is freestyle (especially when I race Mr. Mike). Swimming has changed my life because I have met so many new friends at swimming. I really like the swim coaches at Charlotte Aquatics, especially Ms. Rebecca and Mr. Mike who have taught me so much and made it loads of fun at the same time. I knew when I walked in the door I was going to enjoy my swim lessons and get to be a good swimmer.
Stuti is 7 years old and attends Barringer Academic Center. When she is not swimming, she likes to ride her skateboard, read books and does hop-hop dance. Her best memory of swimming is swinging on the rope at Charlotte Aquatics and she loves doing the dolphin kick. Her favorite memory of Charlotte Aquatics though is learning flip turns from Ms. Rebecca. Stuti has all of her patches and trophy displayed in her room. Swimming has changed Stuti?s life because she feels more confident when she swims in deeper water and she now enjoys water games. When you ask Stuti what she likes most about Charlotte Aquatics she says, All my teachers Ms. Gigi, Ms. Rebecca, Ms. Deborah, and Mr. Mike are all awesome!

Best swimming memory is when Miss Allison jiggled the swimming mat in the water during the clinic and we had to get up on it and try to walk across it and then jump in the water. I put all of my patches on my bulletin board in my room. My favorite stroke is the Butterfly because I love doing the dolphin kick. Swimming has changed my life because it has given me confidence and has made me one of the best swimmers I know! What I like most about Charlotte Aquatics is Miss Gigi and Miss Deborah because they are so nice and they taught me sooooo much! Best swimming memory is jumping off the rope at the end of each lesson and learning how to do flip turns. All of my patches are on my dresser and my favorite stroke is Elementary Backstroke. Swimming changed my life because now when I go to the pool I can swim with my family and my friends! What I liked most about swim lessons was getting to go to the gas station for a snack or Wendy?s for a frosty after class if I did well and listened!
