Emma Leggio

Emma has lived in Charlotte for 5 years now. Before that she lived in Brazil, Michigan, England, Michigan and Tennessee. Now that she has settled in Charlotte, she is attending Myers Park high school as a senior. After some consideration, she has decided she wants to become a nurse. To promote this career Emma has interned in the Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, and Sardis Oaks nursing home. In addition to her academics, Emma assists at the Harris YMCA, is a member of the STAG club (Stop The African Genocide) club, and is in the process of starting her own fundraising club. Also she has played on the volleyball team and track team. Go Mustangs!
 

Caitlin Rowland

Caitlin Rowland has been living in Charlotte North Carolina basically her whole life. She recently got her two year associates in arts at Central Piedmont Community College here in Charlotte and thinking about going to UNC Charlotte to finish her bachelor’s degree. She also loves playing piano, singing, and writing music. Caitlin very much enjoys helping teach the kids at Charlotte Aquatics and seeing them grow and improve not only as swimmers, but as people as well. She is tickled by the cheerful faces she sees every single time she works!
 

Sara Keller

Sara Keller grew up in Alaska where she swam competitively for eight years. She also grew up dancing which is what brought her to North Carolina. She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance. Currently she is dancing with a contemporary dance company here in Charlotte. When she is not dancing, swimming, or being active; she is training or tutoring in Orton-Gillingham a multi-sensory way of tutoring students with dyslexia in reading, writing and spelling. In the fall she is planning to go back to school for a degree in Integrated Education. Her love of kids and zest for life is what keeps her wanting to learn more.
 

Alysha Perrin

Alysha is originally from Lake Tahoe, Nevada where she grew up dancing, doing gymnastics, skiing, and swimming like a fish. She eventually moved to North Carolina where she has lived ever since but is new to the Charlotte area and the Charlotte Aquatics team. She recently graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in contemporary dance. While at UNCSA, Alysha performed, choreographed her own work, helped produce student shows, and was the college student body president her senior year. Alysha is continuing to pursue a career in dance as well as reconnecting with her love of nature and animals. In her spare time, Alysha enjoys being outdoors, traveling, arts and crafts, and learning anything new.
 

Michael Hogan

Michael has lived in Charlotte for most of his life. He attended All Saints Elementary School, Holy Trinity Middle School, and Charlotte Catholic High School. He wrestled and played soccer at Anderson College. Michael loves swimming and teaching swimming.
