Welcome, Charlotte Aquatics family and proud parents, to a special edition of our swim blog that is sure to make waves of excitement! Today, we are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the rising stars of our aquatic community – the newest Level 7 Graduates! Our graduates are ready to share their tales – inspiring bios that showcase the transformation that happens when passion meets persistence in the shimmering embrace of the water.
Advait‘s Bio:
Advait is an 8-year-old entering third grade with a passion for learning both in and out of the pool. When he’s not swimming, he enjoys Tae Kwon Do and has earned recognition as both a spelling bee and chess champion. His favorite stroke is butterfly, and he loves diving into the water.
Advait began swimming at Charlotte Aquatics when he was just 4 years old and has fond memories of completing his very first swim level! Over the years, he has continued to grow into a strong and confident swimmer, and we are so proud to have been a part of his journey.
Advait’s parents added. “We are deeply grateful for the guidance and support Charlotte Aquatics has provided our child throughout his swimming journey. From his early days as a toddler to completing Level 7 and graduating, your team has been instrumental in his growth. Thank you for helping him achieve this milestone.”

Agnes‘s Bio:
Agnes is a 9-year-old entering third grade who enjoys staying active and exploring her many interests. Outside of swimming, she loves playing the piano, taking voice lessons, and riding her scooter. Her favorite stroke is breaststroke, and she is especially proud that swimming has taught her how to tread water with confidence.
One of Agnes’s favorite things about Charlotte Aquatics is that the instructors are nice and fun. Her favorite memory is celebrating each new accomplishment by earning badges and passing swim levels.
Congratulations, Agnes, on graduating from Level 7! We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished!
Vishnu‘s Bio:
Vishnu is 14 years old and entering eighth grade. When he is not swimming, he enjoys participating in Boy Scouts and playing video games. Freestyle is his favorite stroke, and he says swimming has helped improve both his endurance and agility.
Throughout his time at Charlotte Aquatics, Vishnu has worked hard to build his skills and confidence in the water. Vishnu loves the friendly atmosphere at Charlotte Aquatics and says the instructors are the best! One of his favorite memories is celebrating Halloween season and enjoying all of the festive activities the team puts together.

Catherine‘s Bio:
Catherine is 7 years old and is entering 2nd grade. When she is not swimming, Catherine enjoys playing games with her brother Thomas and playing with her American Girl dolls. She also loves gymnastics and drawing and creating artwork. Her favorite stroke is breaststroke!
Swimming has made Catherine more confident in the water and proud to know how to do all four swim strokes. Catherine most loves the instructors at Charlotte Aquatics. Her favorite memory there is when she first started classes and meeting her favorite teacher, Ms. Deborah.

Saharsh‘s Bio:
Saharsh is an 8-year-old entering third grade. When he is not swimming, he enjoys playing outside. His favorite stroke is butterfly, and he says swimming has changed his life because it helps him stay healthier, stronger, and more fit.
One of Saharsh’s favorite things about Charlotte Aquatics is the way the instructors teach and encourage every student. His favorite memory is celebrating his Level 7 graduation, a milestone that reflects all of his hard work and dedication throughout the years.

Carly‘s Bio:
Carly is a 7-year-old entering second grade. When she is not swimming, she enjoys doing gymnastics and playing with her family and friends. Butterfly is her favorite stroke, and she says one of the biggest impacts of swim lessons at Charlotte Aquatics is that it has made her a very strong swimmer.
Carly loves celebrating each new milestone at Charlotte Aquatics, especially earning certificates and receiving her graduation trophy. Some of her favorite memories include swimming with Ms. Deborah and learning how to do wall flips.

We are grateful for the amazing Charlotte Aquatics staff and all they have done to develop our children into excellent swimmers. We have been coming to Charlotte Aquatics weekly for almost 10 years and have watched our two children develop unbelievable swimming skills, one week at a time. It’s hard to believe that we have come to the end of this era as our youngest graduates from level 7! Thank you Charlotte Aquatics Team for all your hard work and dedication!
