Introducing our May Level 7 Grads

Welcome, Charlotte Aquatics family and proud parents, to a special edition of our swim blog that is sure to make waves of excitement! Today, we are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the rising stars of our aquatic community – the newest Level 7 Graduates! Our graduates are ready to share their tales – inspiring bios that showcase the transformation that happens when passion meets persistence in the shimmering embrace of the water.

Adeline‘s Bio: 

Adeline is 7 years old and is in 1st grade. When she is not swimming, she enjoys arts and crafts. Her favorite stroke is freestyle.

Swimming has helped Adeline become a stronger competitor in the water. She loves the fun decorations and scavenger hunts at Charlotte Aquatics, and one of her favorite memories is passing levels!

Congratulations on this wonderful accomplishment, Adeline!

Asher‘s Bio: 

Asher is 9 years old and is in 3rd grade. When he is not swimming, he loves playing sports and spending time outdoors. His favorite stroke is breaststroke.

Swimming has helped Asher become more confident in the water. He has enjoyed learning from the many great instructors at Charlotte Aquatics, and one of his favorite memories is swinging from the rope into the pool. Asher says he is glad he has learned to swim better, and his parents are now more comfortable with him swimming in the ocean.  

Keep making waves, Asher!

Blair‘s Bio: 

Blair is 9 years old and in the 3rd grade. When she is not swimming she does karate and is working on her black belt. She loves arts, crafts, and spending time with her 2 dogs. 

Blair’s favorite stroke is the breaststroke and swimming has given her confidence and strength. Her favorite thing about Charlotte Aquatics are the fantastic swim teachers who make learning all the strokes easy and fun. Her favorite memory is when the email came that she was graduating!

Blair’s parents added: “I think we both have enjoyed watching her grow from a confidence of water safety to a confidence of gliding across the water. We also loved watching her with our friends’ small children at the pool and beach this spring where she echoed water safety and techniques she has learned.”

Way to go – we are so proud of you, Blair!

Brooke‘s Bio: 

Brooke is 7 years old. She has been part of the Charlotte Aquatics swim family since she was about six months old!  When she is not swimming, she enjoys spending time at her neighborhood pool and playing outside.

Over the years, Brooke has worked hard to develop strong swimming skills and confidence in the water. We have loved watching her progress through the program.

Henry‘s Bio: 

Henry is 12 years old and is in 6th grade. When he is not swimming, he enjoys playing golf, tennis, and basketball. His favorite stroke is freestyle.

Swimming has helped Henry gain confidence in himself and taught him that if you work, results will come. What he loves most about Charlotte Aquatics are the teachers and community environment, and one of his favorite memories is swinging from the rope.

Way to go, Henry – you rock!

Jacksons Bio: 

Jackson is 9 years old. When he’s not swimming, he likes to play football, video games and ride his scooter. His favorite stroke is freestyle. 

Swimming has changed Jackson’s life because it help him overcome his fear of the water – he learned so many safety skills and how to be safe in and around the water. What he loves most are the nice instructors at CA. His favorite memory is getting to swing from the rope!

Jordans Bio:

Lennons Bio: 

Lennon is 8 years old and is in 3rd grade. When she is not swimming, she enjoys playing soccer, riding her bike, and spending time with her two sisters. Her favorite stroke is freestyle!

Lennon says “Swimming was hard for me at first, but now it’s something I enjoy to do very much! Charlotte Aquatics has the best swim instructors and I love all of the themes and decorations!” One of Lennon’s favorite memories is seeing her sisters swim in the lanes next to her and making new friends.

Nathalias Bio: 

Nathalia is 14 years old. When she is not swimming, she enjoys studying, doing homework, and drawing. Her favorite stroke is freestyle!

Swimming has change Nathalia’s life because it helped her build confidence in her strokes and feel more comfortable in lakes and oceans. She appreciates how Charlotte Aquatics helps swimmers improve and builds them up over time. One of her favorite memories is completing her butterfly stroke fully without stopping.

We are excited to celebrate this achievement with you, Nathalia!

Rajorshis Bio: 

Rajorshi is 14 years old and is in 8th grade. When he is not swimming, he enjoys studying, biking, playing sports, and playing Minecraft with friends. His favorite stroke is butterfly because the movement is very fun and feels nice, he says.

Swimming has helped Rajorshi gain confidence and feel more secure in the water. He mentioned that “the instructors are all awesome, nice, and helpful!” Rajorshi’s favorite memories are learning new strokes and successfully completing each level of the Charlotte Aquatics swim program.

Rajorshi’s parents added “Charlotte Aquatics is an exceptional place for children to learn how to swim, and I am pleased to share that both of my children have successfully completed all levels of your program! The instructors are outstanding, and we are very grateful for the excellent guidance and support they provided.”

Congratulations on all of your hard work, Rajorshi! Way to go!

We are grateful for the amazing Charlotte Aquatics staff and all they have done to develop our children into excellent swimmers. We have been coming to Charlotte Aquatics weekly for almost 10 years and have watched our two children develop unbelievable swimming skills, one week at a time. It’s hard to believe that we have come to the end of this era as our youngest graduates from level 7!  Thank you Charlotte Aquatics Team for all your hard work and dedication!
