Welcome, Charlotte Aquatics family and proud parents, to a special edition of our swim blog that is sure to make waves of excitement! Today, we are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the rising stars of our aquatic community – the newest Level 7 Graduates! Our graduates are ready to share their tales – inspiring bios that showcase the transformation that happens when passion meets persistence in the shimmering embrace of the water.
Amelia‘s Bio:
Amelia is 7 years old and is in 2nd grade. When she’s not swimming, Amelia loves to dance and play soccer. She loves swimming because it’s fun and helps her feel confident in the water thanks to everything she has learned at Charlotte Aquatics.
Her favorite stroke is the butterfly! What she loves most about Charlotte Aquatics is that all the teachers are all so nice. Her favorite memories are learning how to dive and swinging and jumping into the water off the rope.

Ayden‘s Bio:
Ayden is in second grade. When Ayden isn’t swimming, she loves to dance, paint, craft, and read. Her favorite stroke is backstroke because she can breathe the whole time and doesn’t get as tired.
Swimming has made her feel stronger and more confident. Ayden loves her coaches at Charlotte Aquatics, especially Miss Olivia. Her favorite memory is how Mr. Devyn would throw her in the water!

Ruth‘s Bio:
Ruth is 7 years old and is in 2nd grade. When she’s not swimming, Ruth loves playing outside with her siblings, riding her bike, and doing fun crafts. She also takes golf and ice-skating lessons! Her favorite stroke is butterfly because it makes her feel strong and fast.
Swimming has changed her life because now she can jump off the diving board all by herself. What she likes most about Charlotte Aquatics is the teachers because they make learning to swim so much fun! Her favorite memory is playing with the toys with Ms. Deborah.

Thais‘s Bio:
Thais is 10 years old and is in 5th grade. When she’s not swimming, Thais enjoys going to dance class. Her favorite stroke is butterfly!
Swimming has changed Thais’ life because it has helped her feel safe and confident in the water. What she loves most about Charlotte Aquatics is her coaches. One of her favorite memories is getting her picture taken every time she passed a level.

Zavier is 9 years old and is in 4th grade. When he’s not swimming, Zavier likes to play basketball and video games. His favorite stroke is freestyle.
Swimming has changed his life because now he can truly swim instead of doggy paddling. His favorite memory at Charlotte Aquatics is all of his teachers because they helped him so much and he appreciates them.

We are grateful for the amazing Charlotte Aquatics staff and all they have done to develop our children into excellent swimmers. We have been coming to Charlotte Aquatics weekly for almost 10 years and have watched our two children develop unbelievable swimming skills, one week at a time. It’s hard to believe that we have come to the end of this era as our youngest graduates from level 7! Thank you Charlotte Aquatics Team for all your hard work and dedication!
