3 – 30 MONTHS
BABY BONDING
3 MONTHS – 5 MONTHS
This 20 MINUTE class promotes infant growth and development through slow, rhythmical movements, tummy time, and lots of skin-to-skin contact.
We create a sensory and motor experience in the pool that is vital to creating healthy bonding, enhanced brain development, and improved proprioception and motor skills.
No previous water experience is necessary.
TODDLER 1
6 MONTHS – 30 MONTHS
This class is a fabulous way to have fun and bond with your child as you explore the water together. You will be taught how to safely and enjoyably introduce your child to the aquatic environment.
The primary goal of our Toddler 1 Class is to get your child comfortable in an aquatic environment and provide the foundation for water safety and independent swimming. Through songs, structured activities, and games, your instructor will teach you how to work with and support your child in preparation for an independent class when he/she is older.
No previous water experience is necessary.
TODDLER 2
6 MONTHS – 30 MONTHS
This class builds on our Toddler 1 class and continues to foster confidence and competence in the water.
Through songs, structured activities, and games, children in the Toddler 2 class enjoy a more active pace of exploring, learning, and interacting with others. Building block skills for independent swimming are developed.
Prerequisite: Mastery of Toddler 1 skills.
TODDLER 3
6 MONTHS – 30 MONTHS
This class builds on our Toddler 2 class and continues to foster confidence and competence in the water. Through songs, structured activities, and games, children in the Toddler 3 class enjoy a more active pace of exploring, learning, and interacting with others.
This level will focus on increasing independent confidence in the water, consistency in back float, and safety around water. Our goal is to reinforce the life-saving safety skills of floating and swimming to the wall.
Prerequisite: Mastery of Toddler 2 skills.
TRANSITIONAL TOT
24 MONTHS – 36 MONTHS
This invitation only class are designed specifically for our more advanced little swimmers who have graduated from our Toddler 3 class but are not quite ready to leave their parent. These young students may still need a little more attention and/or supervision than they would receive in a small group lesson.
Through the use of familiar equipment, songs, and games and with friendly faces we will transition your advanced toddler swimmer through the important change of instruction with a parent to an independent class.
Prerequisite: Mastery of Toddler 3 skills.
TOT
24 MONTHS – 36 MONTHS
This invitation only class is designed specifically for our more advanced little swimmers who have graduated from our Transitional Tot class. This parent-free level will give children a platform to grow and develop their swimming skills.
TOT class continues to teach water safety and proficiency in the water. The goal for this level is to prepare young, toddler students to succeed and achieve the goals of our independent level program.
Prerequisite: Mastery of all Transitional Tot skills.
