Welcome, Charlotte Aquatics family and proud parents, to a special edition of our swim blog that is sure to make waves of excitement! Today, we are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the rising stars of our aquatic community – the newest Level 7 Graduates! Our graduates are ready to share their tales – inspiring bios that showcase the transformation that happens when passion meets persistence in the shimmering embrace of the water.

Charlie’s Bio:
Charlie is 6 years old and is in 1st grade. When he’s not swimming, he enjoys reading, playing soccer, and building with Legos. His favorite stroke is butterfly. Charlie loves swimming and especially enjoys lessons with Ms. Deborah!
Charlie’s parents shared, “It has been a joy to watch Charlie go from a baby in the pool with me to a full-fledged, strong, confident swimmer. Charlotte Aquatics has been the best place for our family to learn to swim – we love the teachers and staff so much! Special thanks to Deborah for all the love and dedication she has poured into Charlie all these years.”

Charlotte’s Bio:
Charlotte is 10 years old and in fifth grade. She has a passion for swimming, but she also enjoys dancing, gymnastics, singing, and art. Her favorite strokes are the breaststroke and backstroke. Charlotte says swimming has made her braver and more confident, helping her feel comfortable asking questions. She has also made great friends through swimming, which is one of the things she loves most about Charlotte Aquatics. She appreciates her instructors and how they have guided her in learning to swim. Most of all, Charlotte will always remember how simply being with her classes made her happy to be at swim.
Charlotte’s parents shared, “We have enjoyed our experiences with Charlotte Aquatics. We are so thankful for such caring, wonderful instructors who have helped teach Charlotte an incredibly important skill. The freedom that comes with swimming and the knowledge of how to be safe around water is so significant. We will always be grateful for the family-like atmosphere of Charlotte Aquatics, where we know everyone wanted the best for our girl.”

Aditya’s Bio:
Aditya is 12 years old and is in 7th grade. When he’s not swimming, he loves playing badminton and chess. His favorite strokes are freestyle and breaststroke. Swimming has helped Aditya learn a vital life skill—he knows how to safely exit the water and even rescue others in trouble.
Aditya says he enjoys all the instructors at Charlotte Aquatics, with his favorites being Ms. Deborah, Mr. Mike, Mr. Devyn, and Ms. Zarina. Aditya’s favorite memories at Charlotte Aquatics include doing the rope, jumps, and cannonballs.

Marjorie’s Bio:
Marjorie is 8 years old and is in the 3rd grade. When she’s not swimming, she likes to play soccer, hang out with her friends, and do crafts! Her favorite stroke is breaststroke.
Marjorie loves Charlotte Aquatics because the instructors spend time making sure she learns the strokes really well!

Reed’s Bio:
Reed is a 10-year-old fourth grader who stays active both in and out of the water. When he’s not swimming, he enjoys playing baseball, being a Boy Scout, and spending time with his younger brother, Landon.
His favorite strokes are a tie between freestyle and breaststroke. Reed says swimming has changed his life by teaching him all the strokes and how to stay safe in the water. What he loves most about Charlotte Aquatics is that it’s both fun and educational. His favorite memory is making friends while learning to swim, combining two things he enjoys the most.

We are grateful for the amazing Charlotte Aquatics staff and all they have done to develop our children into excellent swimmers. We have been coming to Charlotte Aquatics weekly for almost 10 years and have watched our two children develop unbelievable swimming skills, one week at a time. It’s hard to believe that we have come to the end of this era as our youngest graduates from level 7! Thank you Charlotte Aquatics Team for all your hard work and dedication!
