Hannah’s Bio:
Hannah is 10 years old and will be starting the 5th grade in August. She loves swimming and soccer! When she is not swimming in the pool, she enjoys playing soccer, reading, and writing. Her favorite stroke is butterfly, and Ms. Olivia has been an amazing teacher. Swimming at Charlotte Aquatics has helped Hannah be more confident in the water. Her favorite memory from Charlotte Aquatics is swimming with pumpkins!
Aurora’s Bio:
Aurora is 8 years old and is a rising 3rd grader at SAIL in the German program. Aurora has been swimming at Charlotte Aquatics since she was 7 months (January of 2017) old and has endured many instructors, challenges (COVID) and fun along the way. When she is not swimming, Aurora enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her parents, 2 siblings (who also attend Charlotte Aquatics) and 2 grandmothers. She also enjoys playing chess, playing Minecraft on her Nintendo Switch, learning German and is also an adept player of Uno. One of her favorite swimming memories includes the fun that was had at the pool during the Paris and Toyko Olympics. As for those patches, most of them are in her room, still attached to the sheet saying she graduated. Aurora’s favorite stroke is the Butterfly and swimming at Charlotte Aquatics has definitely boosted her confidence in the pool as she was able to swim for her Neighborhood Swim Team this past June. One of Aurora’s favorite things about Charlotte Aquatics has been the instructors and two of her favorites of all time (Mr. William and Ms. Kathryn) are no longer with Charlotte Aquatics, although Mr. Mike would get a bronze medal (to tie in with current Olympics) as a close 3rd. Lasty, Aurora would like to thank everyone who has helped her develop her swimming skills over the years, she is very appreciative!
