Aarav’s Bio:
Aarav is 11 years old and getting ready to start middle school as a freshman. When he’s not swimming, you’ll find him strumming his guitar or playing on his Nintendo. Aarav enjoys swimming so much that he loves all the strokes, and he’s especially proud that he can now swim in the ocean! His favorite memories at Charlotte Aquatics include the Halloween pumpkin hunt and the excitement of passing Level 4.
Aarav’s parents shared how proud they are of his accomplishments and growth. They admire his never-give-up attitude and determination to go the extra mile. They also extend a heartfelt thank-you to all the coaches who helped Aarav become the confident swimmer he is today.

Ellie’s Bio:
Ellie is 9 years old and in 4th grade. When she’s not swimming, she loves reading books, building Legos, and playing with her brother and sister. Her favorite stroke is freestyle, but she also enjoys backstroke. Since starting lessons at Charlotte Aquatics, Ellie has become a stronger swimmer and even qualified for swim team! Her favorite part of summer swim team is getting to swim alongside her sister and friends.
Some of Ellie’s favorite things at Charlotte Aquatics are Miss Deborah and Miss Olivia, jumping from the rope, and swimming with pumpkins. She always looks forward to seeing the new seasonal themes around the school. Ellie says she appreciates Charlotte Aquatics because they’ve helped her become a better swimmer.
Congrats, Ellie – we’re so proud of you!

Emma’s Bio:
Emma is 8 years old and in 2nd grade. When she’s not swimming, she enjoys playing Minecraft, running through her Ninja course, and shooting hoops on the basketball court. Her favorite stroke is breaststroke, and swimming has become one of her favorite activities. After five years at Charlotte Aquatics, Emma is proud to be graduating Level 7!
She’s made incredible progress thanks to the many amazing instructors who’ve guided her along the way—making learning both fun and rewarding. If she had to pick a favorite memory, it would be swimming with Coach Mike. Emma also loved being on her neighborhood swim team the past two summers, where she competed in all four strokes thanks to the strong foundation she built here. One of her favorite things about Charlotte Aquatics? “The water is warm!”
Emma hopes to continue swimming as an Elite Fish, so it’s not goodbye yet!
Way to go, Emma – we’re cheering you on every lap of the way!

Madison’s Bio:
Madison is 10 years old and in 4th grade. She’s been swimming with Charlotte Aquatics since she was about 5 years old. When she is not swimming, Madison dances as part of the competition team at Carolina Dance Capital. After learning all of the strokes, her favorite is the breaststroke. Learning to swim has made Madison a confident swimmer and better dancer by giving her flexibility, endurance and strength.
Madison loves all the fun events that happen at Charlotte Aquatics throughout each year, such as swimming for pumpkins, raffles, taking fun pictures, and swinging on the rope. Her favorite memories are diving for rings and swimming the Individual Medley (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle) like a pro!
Her family expressed “As a parent, I have enjoyed watching Madison become less fearful of the water and become a better swimmer. I appreciate the movement between the level of classes occurred on Madison’s own pace. Charlotte Aquatics has been a great place!”
Congratulations, Madison – we’re so proud of how far you’ve come!
Tripp’s Bio:
Tripp is 8 years old and is in 2nd grade. Tripp loves playing with friends when he’s not swimming. He also plays golf, basketball, and baseball and is currently competing for the season championship for 8U baseball. He also loves reading and his favorite series is Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Tripp’s favorite stroke is freestyle but he’s fastest at backstroke. Tripp started swimming in the Mommy and Me class at Charlotte Aquatics at just 6 months old and has taken lessons ever since. Because of his early start at CA, he was able to join his neighborhood swim team at 4 years old and last year won MVP and most improved for the 8 and under group! Swimming has given Tripp confidence and pride as well as ambition to continue beating his personal bests.
What Tripp loves most about Charlotte Aquatics are all the fun activities incorporated into each swim lesson at CA whether it be from the slides in the toddler classes, the seasonal props and toys in the pool, or ending the lesson with the rope swing. He always thought he was just having fun, and his parents say they never had to “drag” him to a lesson. The family’s favorite memories of CA have been pumpkins in the pool at Halloween, swimming to a ball when he was toddler, and time with all the amazing instructors!
We are so proud of you Tripp! Keep up the amazing work!
