Today, we are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the rising stars of our aquatic community – the newest level 7 Graduates. Our graduates are ready to share their tales – inspiring narratives that showcase the transformation that happens when passion meets persistence in the shimmering embrace of the water.

Brianna’s Bio:

Brianna Roulette is 10 years old and is in 5th grade. She started at Charlotte Aquatics at the age of 7 in Level 2. She enjoys playing tennis, doing fun activities and outings with her parents and 3 brothers, reading books and playing on her iPad. One of her favorite memories at Charlotte Aquatics was doing the pumpkin patch in the water. Her favorite stroke is the butterfly stroke. Her favorite instructors are Ms. Olivia B and Ms. Isabella, but enjoyed all the instructors she had. She appreciates all that she has learned at Charlotte Aquatics because it made her better at swimming and she feels relaxed and confident while swimming. Thanks to everyone who was a part of her journey to get through all the levels and complete Level 7.

Savannah’s Bio:

Savannah has been in swim lessons since she was 3 years old. She has been with Charlotte Aquatics since 2022, and has had so many excellent instructors! She spends as much time as possible at the neighborhood pool, swimming with her friends for fun, practicing her strokes, and preparing for swim meets. Her favorite thing about Charlotte Aquatics is how wonderful all of the teachers are. Her best memory there is at the Halloween party when she got to swim in a pool full of pumpkins. Savannah’s favorite stroke is BUTTERFLY!!!

Kennedy’s Bio:

Kennedy Pierce is 8 years old. She started at Charlotte Aquatics in June of 2020 and immediately fell in love with swimming! Her favorite strokes are butterfly and backstroke. Throughout her time at Charlotte Aquatics, Kennedy has had motivating and encouraging coaches who have helped her refine each stroke. Each time she moved up a level, she was motivated to learn the new strokes and improve her technique. Graduating level 7 has always been Kennedy’s goal, so she is extremely excited for this moment! When Kennedy is not swimming, she loves gymnastics and riding her scooter!

Grant’s Bio:

Grant is nine years old and in third grade. In addition to swimming, he enjoys basketball, building with Legos, and mountain biking. Grant’s favorite stroke is breast stroke. He has enjoyed all of the wonderful instructors at Charlotte Aquatics. They helped him to feel more confident so he can have fun swimming at the beach and the pool.

Ella’s Bio:

Ella is 8 years old. When she’s not swimming, she loves to play soccer, practice Tae Kwon Do, dance, and play with her brother Carson. It’s hard for her to pick her best swimming memory because she has been swimming for so long, but she thinks it was swimming to pick out a pumpkin. All her swimming certificates, patches, and pictures are in her mom’s memory box. Her favorite stroke is the breaststroke. She loves that she knows how to swim because that means she can have a lot of fun in her grandma’s pool over the summer. She loves Charlotte Aquatics because the teachers are fun, and they taught her how to swim and be safe in the water.

We are grateful for the amazing Charlotte Aquatics staff and all they have done to develop our children into excellent swimmers. We have been coming to Charlotte Aquatics weekly for almost 10 years and have watched our two children develop unbelievable swimming skills, one week at a time. It’s hard to believe that we have come to the end of this era as our youngest graduates from level 7!  Thank you Charlotte Aquatics Team for all your hard work and dedication!

Evan’s Bio:

Evan is 10 years old. He has loved his time at Charlotte Aquatics because the instructors are so nice and have taught him to swim better than all of his friends. His best memory is his final ceremony, where he got to do one more lap of his favorite stroke: freestyle. He’s kept every single patch, and now his trophy, on a shelf in his room. When he’s not swimming, he likes to play soccer and football with his friends.

We’ve been in and out of Charlotte Aquatics since our kids were toddlers (they’re now 7 and 10!). We’re so grateful for all the instructors who have taught and encouraged them over the years. Each win has been celebrated in small and big ways — it’s been such a joy to witness the impact these accomplishments have had on their confidence both in and out of the pool.
Charlotte Aquatics sets the bar for what swim schools should be, the caliber of instruction, care towards the kids, customer service, consistency in programming, instructor tenure… the list goes on. We’re proud to have supported a small business with such an important mission for so many years.

Lainey’s Bio:
Lainey is 7 years old. Charlotte Aquatics has been like family to us since Lainey was 3. Thanks to them Lainey has never been afraid of the water and was swimming on her own at an early age in our neighborhood pool. She joined the swim team for Cameron Wood Sharks at age 6 and was doing so well she was asked many times to swim up a level for more competition! She has loved all her instructors at Charlotte Aquatics, especially the “silly ones” ! She loves the butterfly stroke the most and that was the last stroke she was finally able to master! When Lainey is not swimming, she plays soccer and loves to use her creative side as a fashionista (always changing outfits and picking them out for others)!! We will miss Charlotte Aquatics but may return for swim team preparation every year!!
