Our graduates are ready to share their tales – inspiring bios that showcase the transformation that happens when passion meets persistence in the shimmering embrace of the water.

James’s Bio:
James is 7 years old and in second grade. He has been swimming at Charlotte Aquatics since he was 3 months old and we can’t believe he is finally graduating. When James is not swimming he enjoys playing football and baseball. His favorite stroke is breaststroke. From a young age James has had a goal to complete level 7 at Charlotte Aquatics. His favorite thing about Charlotte Aquatics is the teachers that have pushed him to be the best he can be. His favorite memory of Charlotte Aquatics is the squirrel encounters he has had, a true animal lover! As parents we feel like Charlotte Aquatics has taught James to not only be a good swimmer but also lessons in determination and character development. We are forever grateful for his Charlotte Aquatics Journey!

Nehan’s Bio:
Nehan is 9 years old and in 4th grade. When Nehan is not swimming he loves to play with my friends and video games. His favorite stroke is butterfly. Swimming has changed his life because he is not scared of water anymore and he likes to swim in different depths of water and is playing water sports now. His favorite part about swim lessons is that Charlotte Aquatics has good teachers and they teach really well. His favorite memory of Charlotte Aquatics is doing streamline (swimming under the water) for the first time.

Shreya’s Bio:
Shreya is 11 years old and is in 6th grade. When she is not swimming she enjoys playing with friends. Her favorite stroke is freestyle. Swimming has changed her life because now she is confident that she won’t drown. Her favorite part about Charlotte Aquatics is that all her coaches were always kind and encouraged her to get better. Her favorite memory of Charlotte Aquatics is going down the slides when she was younger.

Tristan has been swimming with Charlotte Aquatics since he was a toddler! He has grown and achieved so much!

Viola’s Bio:
Viola is 7 years old and is in 2nd grade. When Viola is not swimming she loves to play soccer and play the guitar. Her favorite stroke is butterfly. Swimming has changed her life because she has gotten faster and is winning races with her friends. The thing she likes most about Charlotte Aquatics are the teachers. Her favorite memory of Charlotte Aquatics is the Olympics celebration.
We are grateful for the amazing Charlotte Aquatics staff and all they have done to develop our children into excellent swimmers. We have been coming to Charlotte Aquatics weekly for almost 10 years and have watched our two children develop unbelievable swimming skills, one week at a time. It’s hard to believe that we have come to the end of this era as our youngest graduates from level 7! Thank you Charlotte Aquatics Team for all your hard work and dedication!
