My name is Bella and I am 8 years old. I am in the 3rd grade. When I am not swimming, I love to read, draw, drum, sculpt with clay, play on my I pad and hang out with my big sister Zoie. My best swimming memory is when I use to swing on the rope and jump into the pool. I have saved all my patches and certificates in a bin that I show off to my family and friends. My favorite stroke is the butterfly because I can go very fast in the water. Swimming has changed my life because it made me feel safer in the water. What I love most about Charlotte Aquatics are the great swim teachers and the different swim strokes I have learned. My favorite memory of Charlotte Aquatics is when Mr. William would take my feet and use it as a telephone to make me laugh and relax while learning to swim.
Thank you note from Bella’s mom Lisa
I just wanted to take the time to thank the entire past and present Charlotte Aquatics staff who helped Bella accomplish her goal of passing all 6 swim levels. I was so lucky the day I found this facility back on February 9th, 2016 when Bella was almost 2 years old. She came in not knowing anything about water safety or how to swim and in no time the years flew by and she gained her confidence and mastered her strokes.
Bella would not have been able to do this without the wonderful swim teachers who dedicated their time to teaching her over the years. They were patient, caring, talented and provided a safe environment for her to grow and gain wonderful memories. Thank you all for being such incredible individuals. Charlotte Aquatics you rock, and Bella cannot wait to start her Elite Fish classes.
