Hi, my name is Candace. I am 8 years old and a rising 3rd grader. When I am not swimming, I like to dance, read, play piano, and practice soccer, basketball and tennis with my dad and sister. My favorite stroke is Free Style. Swimming has changed my life a lot, it makes me feel calm and free and I am happy when I swim. It’s my happiest place on earth.
My favorite memory of Charlotte Aquatics is when two of the teachers – Ms. Maddy and Ms. Joy – fight over me, and when Mr. Mike rapped for me. I love them all and wishing them all the best. Charlotte Aquatics teachers are amazing, loving, caring, fun and great in teaching.
Thank you, Charlotte Aquatics, for teaching me how to be a confident swimmer!
Luna is 7 years old. Her favorite thing to do when she isn’t swimming is anything related to arts and crafts, particularly if it involves working with clay. She also is very passionate about animals, especially dogs. Luna has always been dedicated to everything she sets her mind to. She keeps all of her swim certificates in frames hanging up on the wall in her bedroom. Her favorite stroke is butterfly, and she appreciates all Ms. Deborah and Ms. Olivia have done to help her perfect it. Luna says “I have been swimming my whole life! When I think about not doing it anymore, I get this weird feeling.” Her parents are looking forward to seeing her continue to excel in the future!
I’m Ali and I am 9 years old. I’m going to fourth grade. I do a lot of things when I am not swimming like a lot of sports, video games and cooking and baking. At swim class I like the breaststroke the best and all my instructors being patient with me. Charlotte Aquatics helped me be a good swimmer. Thank you, Charlotte Aquatics instructors!
Parent Comment: Thank you to all for helping my son gain so much confidence in and of the water. CA is a safe place to always remember.
