Bonjour-Hola-Hello! My name is Isabelle, I am 10 years old and currently in 5th grade. Our household speaks 3 languages and I have a younger sister in Charlotte Aquatics Level 4. My proud parents and I are happy that I successfully graduated this year and moving on to Elite Fish! When I’m not swimming, I am playing piano, reading books and doing Krav Maga with my sister. I love books, cooking, music, and art. My favorite stroke is breaststroke and my favorite swimming memory is the famous cannonball by Mr. Devyn, plus the fun lessons with my wonderful teachers Mr. William and Mr. Mike. Thank you, Charlotte Aquatics, for giving me the skills and courage to face the big beach waves!
My name is Declan and I have been swimming at Charlotte Aquatics for 6 years! I am 9 years old and in 3rd grade and my little brother takes classes at Charlotte Aquatics. My favorite memory is from when I first started – my first class I cried, and then a couple weeks later it was my birthday and I was happy from then on. When I am not swimming, I do Tae kwon do, play other sports, and play with my friends. My favorite stroke is the breaststroke. I am going to miss all the great teachers I learned under over the years. I am so proud to have passed level 6!
Hi! My name is Olivia and I’ve been swimming at Charlotte Aquatics for quite some time. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it, including the many instructors who’ve inspired me and pushed me all this time to progress through the levels represented by each badge and picture we proudly display at home. When not swimming I’m usually directing movies my brother and I script and act out or playing the Violin. In the pool though my favorite stroke is the breaststroke, and I can’t wait to train harder and hopefully be a competitive swimmer someday.
Sam is 10 years old and in the 4th grade. Sam is originally from Omaha, Nebraska and started swimming in a “Mommy and Me” class at 8 months old. Sam has always loved the water whether it’s a pool, lake, or ocean, he’s swimming. Since starting at Charlotte Aquatics in the fall of 2021 he has excelled. Learning new strokes such as the breaststroke and butterfly and refining his favorite stroke, the freestyle. He will truly miss his weekly lessons at Charlotte Aquatics!
My name is Sutton and I am seven years old. I love Charlotte Aquatics because the teachers are so fun. I especially like Mr. Mike because he makes lessons a lot of fun because he is so silly and funny. He is my favorite memory of Charlotte Aquatics. Breaststroke is my favorite stroke. When I am not swimming, I play the piano, do hip hop dance, and participate in Girl Scouts.
